Haslett Soccer Club

About the Club

For over 10 years the Haslett Soccer Club has worked to present a soccer program in the Haslett area for players age 7 to 19.

Over 240 players currently play for Haslett in the East Side and Capital Area Soccer Leagues.

The club:

  • schedules and maintains the practice fields on Academic Way
  • helps provide coaches for over 20 teams
  • coordinates game schedules with the other Lansing area soccer clubs

FAREWELL TO ROB NORTMAN,
Haslett Soccer Club President
Rob Nortman, our Haslett Soccer Club President and long time Haslett Soccer Coach was promoted by his company and transferred to Des Moines, Iowa.

Thank you, Rob, for your work in developing the Haslett Soccer Club, and providing many years of leadership and coaching to the program which now has over 240 players. We know how proud you are that girls you coached when they were ESSL and USSF players have been outstanding players on the High School Girls Varsity Soccer Team.

You once again demonstrated your coaching skills by coaching the USSF U12 girls team together with Dave Radke. The girls responded by winning the championships in their league games and tournaments, and are now well on their way to a great spring CASL season. The girls and parents have much respect for you, and you can be so proud of the accomplishments of this team, as well as all the girls and boys you coached throughout your years with the Haslett Soccer program.

It has been our pleasure to know you and privilege to work with you in the Haslett Soccer Club. Congratulations on your promotion and we wish you and your family God’s richest blessings.
